Summary/Objective?
Oversee the Purchasing of goods, materials, and services to ensure that the company operational needs are met, considering price, quality, and on-time delivery to ensure continuity of supply.

Essential Functions????

  • Purchase goods or services that meet the quantity and quality expectations of the organization.
  • Evaluate and negotiate contracts with vendors.
  • Track inventory and restock goods when needed.
  • Compare available goods with industry trends to determine appropriate pricing.
  • Assisting the Purchasing Manager with maintaining inventory levels and materials on a regular basis
  • Effectively communicating with the management team to ensure all orders are accurate.
  • Assisting the Purchasing Manager with maintaining inventory levels and materials on a regular basis
  • Working within the management team to ensure that all deliveries satisfy the assigned orders and report any back ordered or missing products

Requirements:

Competencies??

  • Strong interpersonal skills to work with team members, clients, and suppliers.
  • Negotiation skills to work with suppliers and make better deals for the company.
  • An understanding of purchase order software platforms
  • Good attention to detail to ensure all purchase orders are accurate.
  • Ability to work with a team.
  • Math skills to make sure all calculations are correct and avoid any unforeseen losses for the company.

Required Education and Experience???

  • 7-8 years of purchasing experience preferred.
