Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE

Reporting to the Director – North America Buying, the Buyer is responsible for selecting, planning, and purchasing Handbags collections that aligns with the brand’s vision, target
customer, and commercial goals.
This role involves analyzing sales data, providing high quality
weekly performance reports, managing Open-to-Buys and ensuring the right product mix, at the right price and time, to drive sales and profitability.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business & Financial Management

  • Operate as a business manager, overseeing the planning budget (Open-to-Buy).
  • Is involved in pre-season planning, including assortment planning, blends, and OTB.
  • Achieve target budgets and margins through strategic buying and inventory management.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on product performance using weekly sales reports and

monthly business unit meetings.

  • Achieve sell-through targets through proactive inventory management.

Assortment Planning & Buying

  • Build and purchase a balanced collection across styles, breadth, and depth, tailored to the

needs of the region.

  • Attend product filtering sessions to ensure regional product needs are met.
  • Monitor market and competitor activity to identify assortment opportunities.

Product Development & Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Product Development team to communicate business needs and

support a strong product offering.

  • Participate in regional sales strategies to align buying with broader business goals.
  • Perform cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment with the Go-to-Market calendar.

In-Season Management

  • Manage in-season activities including repeats, markdowns, and rebalancing as needed.

Visual Merchandising & Brand Alignment

  • Actively contribute to regional Visual Merchandising strategies to ensure alignment with

assortment and brand positioning.
