KEY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
The ideal candidate will have:
· Buying experience within a manufacturing environment, ideally with a Components or Chemicals background or within the health & beauty industry;
· Solid experience of negotiation, including negotiating price and terms.
· Have GCSE level (or equivalent) in Maths and English;
· Have strong attention to detail;
· Be self-motivated, determined and driven to develop the role;
· Work well under pressure with the ability to work to strict deadlines;

JOB PURPOSE:
To provide buying expertise, shrewd category management and an experienced level of sourcing support within Amirose London. To determine and source individual component/product requirements within the category, build effective relationships with our suppliers to optimise price, availability and quality. To agree and implement supplier strategies to minimise risk of over-reliance and to ensure quality and availability is balanced with price. To work within a reasonable time frame to provide quotation support to enable the Commercial Team to finalise quotes to our customers. To regularly review stock levels to ensure clean exit at end of life and reduce cost of clearance, or provide proposals for consumption of overstocks.
DUTIES:
Including, but not limited to:
· Supporting the Buying Team in building and executing an effective procurement strategy;
· Building and managing relationships with suppliers;
· Negotiating, placing and expediting orders with suppliers;
· Liaising heavily with various stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure the availability and timeliness of materials for production across the site;
· Being an active participant in the cross functional team to continually drive process and procedural improvements;
· Monitoring order prices against standard with an objective to improve costs.
· Generate reporting to give business visibility of category performance.
