ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a proactive and detail-driven Strategic Product Buyer to join our operations team. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of vendor relationships, product categories, and purchasing strategy within a mission-driven company serving thousands of organizations nationwide.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage assigned product categories and vendors, monitoring stock levels, sales trends, and reorder needs.
• Analyze sales reports and seasonal demand to improve forecast accuracy.
• Negotiate vendor terms, pricing, and lead times.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery and product quality.
• Coordinate inbound shipments with logistics partners.
• Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, ecommerce, customer service) to align purchasing with campaigns and fulfillment goals.
• Source new or custom products based on internal requests, ensuring cost and quality targets are met.
• Utilize ERP systems (NetSuite preferred), Excel/Google Sheets, and other cloud-based tools to manage purchasing operations.

  Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
