JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Buyer to join our procurement team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, goods, and services necessary for the company’s operations. This role requires strong negotiation skills, a solid understanding of supply chain management, and proficiency in various ERP systems. The Buyer will work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure that inventory levels meet production needs while optimizing costs.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in a Buyer or procurement role within supply chain management.
  • Strong knowledge of materials management, sourcing strategies, and logistics.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms related to purchasing processes is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability in negotiation and contract management.
  • Experience in inventory management and production planning is highly desirable.
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail in pricing and merchandising decisions.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to meet organizational needs.
  • Manage procurement processes including supplier selection, contract negotiation, and purchasing.
  • Utilize ERP systems Acumatica
  • Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage MRP (Material Requirements Planning) to prevent shortages or excess stock.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors to negotiate contracts and pricing agreements.
  • Analyze supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement in procurement processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding purchasing and inventory control.
