• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Five years of experience in procurement
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Q clearance

WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE SIGNIFICANT:

This position is responsible for specialized procurement of equipment, materials, services, and Staff Augmentation Personnel to support plant operations. The position requires a sound knowledge of procurement procedures and specific technical knowledge of the commodity or service being procured.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Reviews and evaluates requisitions and purchase data packages for proper authorization
• Reviews and evaluates Engineering drawings, design specifications, material specifications and quality control specifications
• Manages supplier relationships in accordance with the terms and conditions of the agreement
• Knowledge of cost and price analysis techniques and negotiation strategies for various types of contracts, including fixed-price and time and material
• Performs comparative analysis of quotations to determine the best value offer
• Collaborates with line organizations in evaluating quo
• Determines and documents appropriateness and fairness of offer in single-source and no-bid procurements
• Plans, solicits, awards, and administers subcontracts in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Obtains, completes, and maintains Vendor Registration database
