We’re seeking a Buyer, Corporate Procurement to join our Calgary team on a long-term contract with a leading agriculture company. This role supports sourcing excellence across corporate functions, focusing on cost optimization and efficient procurement processes.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field
3+ years of procurement experience, preferably in IT hardware/software and services
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) and procurement tools (e.g., Ariba)
Knowledge of P2P automation and contract compliance
Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills
Procurement/supply chain certifications are an asset
High ethical standards and attention to detail

Manage purchasing for categories like IT, services, aviation, facilities, and equipment
Ensure compliance with procurement policies and best practices
Support Procure-to-Pay (P2P) reporting and metrics
Advise end-users on spending channels and process improvements
Identify cost-saving opportunities and system efficiencies
Contribute to P2P standardization and related initiatives
Monitor contracts for compliance and accuracy
Collaborate on automation and procurement workflow improvements
