JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Maintenance Buyer to join our team at a 100% onsite role in Milwaukee, WI. This position plays a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) by managing procurement activities, supplier relationships, and inventory coordination.

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
· Experience: in procurement, supply chain, or MRO purchasing.
· Skills:
o Strong negotiation and communication abilities
o Proficiency in procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.)
o Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

· Manage procurement of materials, supplies, equipment, and services for maintenance operations.
· Research and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and secure cost-effective deals.
· Maintain inventory levels and coordinate with maintenance teams to avoid supply shortages.
· Ensure quality control of materials and compliance with specifications.
· Prepare and manage purchase orders, invoices, and procurement records.
· Collaborate closely with maintenance and engineering teams.
· Monitor supplier performance and conduct periodic evaluations.
· Stay informed on market trends and industry best practices.
· Ensure procurement activities align with company policies and regulatory standards.
