As a Buyer & Forecast Planner (m/f/d), you will play a central role in our Operations department. You will be the interface between Product Management, Operations, and Finance, ensuring that our bestsellers are always available and that new products are launched smoothly. You will work in a data-driven, proactive manner, with a strong commitment to quality.
Our team consists of around 60 colleagues in the premium skincare sector – dedicated, supportive, and passionate about high-quality products. Our modern office is located on Kantstraße in Berlin, with the option to work remotely two days a week.
Your tasks:
- Purchasing & Re-Orders: You are responsible for the entire operational purchasing of finished goods as well as primary and secondary packaging (including price negotiations, supplier communication and data maintenance).
- Demand Planning & Forecasting: You independently plan (initially with the team leader) the requirements for all SKUs (Skincare, GWPs, Packaging) and keep an eye on seasonal peaks.
- Inventory & KPI tracking: You monitor stock levels, ranges and order cycles to proactively prevent bottlenecks and out-of-stocks.
- Interface hub: You coordinate closely with product management, graphics and R&D on launch handovers, print data or specification changes.
- Operations-Inbound: You coordinate with the operations team regarding deliveries, timings and optimal material flows.
You bring the following:
- Completed studies in the field of business administration, economics or supply chain management – or completed commercial training with relevant professional experience
- Several years of relevant experience in purchasing, planning or supply chain management, ideally in the consumer goods or cosmetics sector.
- Excellent knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets and a passion for data-driven work.
- High degree of independence, sense of responsibility and a solution-oriented attitude
- Excellent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
