Overview:
JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the purchase of stock and non-stock items with inventory control as a priority for the facility. Performs a variety of duties to purchase material, equipment, merchandise and supplies according to hospital guidelines for cost, quality and delivery.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

  • High School Diploma, BS in Business Administration, Accounting preferred. 1 year experience as a buyer preferably in a hospital setting. Excellent communication Skills and the ability to analyze situations and react or plan accordingly.
  • Current BCLS Card within 30 days of hire
