What You’ll Do: Boost Competitiveness & Drive Cost Optimization Partner closely with the Commodity organization to deliver cost reductions and improve BOM cost Collaborate cross‑functionally to support business needs and enhance overall GBE performance Shape Supplier Strategy & Performance Support and contribute to Commodity panel strategy within your GBE/Region Execute productivity objectives and track supplier action plans Participate in supplier reviews and ensure alignment on long‑term goals Lead NPI & VE/Resourcing Activities Manage and execute the complete supplier selection process for New Product Introductions and VE/Resourcing projects Identify and propose new resourcing opportunities Execute VE, Resourcing, and logistics productivity actions, aligned with AOP targets Coordinate post‑SOP engineering changes and secure first‑year savings after award Support Mass Production & Operations Gather and analyze supplier capacity data Act as the primary sourcing interface for supply chain and quality teams Manage logistics, capacity, and quality escalations Validate and negotiate charge‑backs Implement mitigation and gap‑closure action plans Support requests related to trade, compliance, and sustainability Be a Key Supplier Contact Serve as the main communication link with selected suppliers Strengthen partnerships and drive continuous improvement in supplier relationships What We Need: Experience: Strong experience in negotiation for at least 2-3 years, preferably in automotive industry. Responsibilities
