Job TitleBuyer: Global Operations Location(s)Singapore Position Description This role will be responsible for material planning and purchasing, ensuring all materials arrive on time for production, customer sale orders fulfillment and all major KPIs are achieved. Duties and Responsibilities: Work closely with Production Planner on-demand requirement Release purchase orders per system generated purchase requisitions and ensure all purchase orders are delivered on time Proactively monitor material delivery according to SIOP plan to ensure no material shortage impact to production Attend daily production meeting to communicate material issues and advise action items Perform weekly inventory monitoring to ensure all raw material inventory targets are achieved. Supplier performance tracking and management. LRS contract negotiation- To drive increase LRS spend commodity by commodity Review E&O and manage LTB activities to minimize obsolescence risk Streamline processes and drive continuous improvement in performance and customer/employee satisfaction Lead in special projects and key initiatives identified from time to time Qualifications: Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or related discipline 5-8 years of experience in a dynamic and fast-paced MNC manufacturing environment Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Experience in SAP.
