Job Title: Buyer     Summary Connectronics Corp., a U.S. manufacturer of specialized electronic connectors including high-voltage interconnects, aerospace connectors, underwater connectors, high current connectors, and multi-pin cable assemblies has an opening in Toledo, OH for a Buyer to join our Purchasing Team. This position will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring raw materials and components essential for manufacturing operations.   Responsibilities and Duties * Sourcing potential suppliers based on price, quality, and availability of parts and components. * Soliciting quotes from potential suppliers for items needed for production. * Negotiating pricing and delivery terms for contractual agreements. * Tracking the status of purchase order for the delivery of goods and verifying the product quality meets specifications. * Initiating return process for parts that fall short of expectations. * Working with the ERP system to maintain the necessary data for quotes, purchased parts, part creation, and reports. * Communicating product or supplier concerns and opportunities with the Purchasing Manager. * Maintaining open lines of communication with vendors to sustain strong relationships. * Coordinating with product development and engineering to support new product introductions.
