EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Experience of working on an international project.
  • Experience of working with electronic purchasing systems (Oracle an advantage).
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good numerical, analytical and organisational skills. Ability to manage workload and carry out tasks with little or no supervision.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft and other software packages

Responsibilities
  • Send out RFQ’s and negotiate best rate and lead times with suppliers.
  • Create purchase orders.
  • Ensure all demands are actioned in a timely fashion and approved in accordance with the Authority Limit Matrix.
  • Create and issue Supply Chain reports as necessary.
  • Expedite purchase orders and ensure on time deliveries.
  • Maintain and archive company documents and records as required.
  • Ensure accurate certification from vendors.
  • Liaise with the accounting function for invoice queries
