  • Able to manage cross functional activity and manage assigned suppliers.
  • Can facilitate building business cases, aggregating forecast trends data into actionable plans.

  • Build strong value adding relationships with supplier, internal customers, and cross functional departments.
  • Provide forecast and schedules to suppliers as required.

Responsibilities

Supply Management:

  • Advise Category Leader and/or Manager of any potential major supplier problems that could adversely affect supply of components.
  • Review and create purchase orders with accuracy.
  • Maintain accuracy of purchase orders on systems (part number and price)
  • Maintain data integrity in all purchasing systems and files.
  • Foster relationships with assigned suppliers and internal stakeholders - Demonstrate proactive initiative in identifying and addressing team needs.

Strategy:

  • Support development of and facilitate the implementation of supply strategies to achieve ongoing cost, quality, and delivery improvement.

Project Support:

  • Submit and support projects for assigned suppliers.
  • Lead smaller projects as assigned.
