Purpose: We are currently recruiting for a Intermediate Buyer. Our team includes world class experts and dynamic go-getters. This is a full-time position based in Calgary, Alberta. Responsibilities: Purchases materials and equipment on a competitive basis as required by project or Company needs. Fully qualified to handle all but the most complex purchasing activities. Typical assignments include engineered and non-engineered items. Identify, solicit and select reliable sources of supply of materials, equipment and services to support project execution and provide the required services to WorleyParsons, and its clients. Works under supervision and self-initiated technical guidance with regular interaction with supervisor. What you will bring: Technical and Industry Experience: Typically, +5 years relevant experience. Strong understanding of systems, processes and tools related to field. Able to assist others and troubleshoot issues. Highly communication skills. Influence participation in the preparation and delivery of proposals, presentations and reports. Having a growth mindset and engaging in continual personal development and learning. Seeks opportunities to learn, develop and stretch to new experiences. Being comfortable with problems that are complex and filled with uncertainty. Being able to understand problems and perspectives from an external and/or internal client's point of view. Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training: Required: University Degree, or equivalent, in related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
