THE ROLE

As a Buyer at Kempower, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to the ever-evolving EV market. On a typical day, you’ll purchase materials to production, check material demand to keep production running smoothly, and communicate with internal stakeholders and suppliers, making a direct impact on our mission to revolutionize transportation.

ROLE SPECIFICS:

• You will be responsible for daily operative purchasing and controlling supplier deliveries to ensure the availability of production materials.
• You will execute purchase orders with dedicated suppliers based on material planning.
• You will monitor suppliers’ on-time deliveries and respond promptly to any exceptions.
• You will collaborate closely with suppliers, production planning, and other internal stakeholders
• You will optimize material inventory levels by continuously monitoring and maintaining purchasing parameters according to material planning.
• You will proactively maintain and develop supplier relationships and cooperation from an operative purchasing perspective.
• You will handle supplier invoices
  At Kempower, we work in a hybrid model. Location near to our factories in Lahti area would be beneficial.

WHAT HELPS YOU SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE

• Bachelor of Master´s degree in a relevant field
• Experience in operative purchasing, material management or international trade
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills and collaborative mindset
• Good problem-solving skills
• Proactive and systematic way of working
  As our official company language is English, proficiency in spoken and written English is required; also, fluent written and spoken Finnish is requirement for this position.
