The Buyer shall source, order and control the adquisition of indirect supplies and services required to support manufacturing, repair and facility maintenance, at the lowest cost possible.

  • Receive and process purchase requisitions from the differents departments
  • Issues quote requests to different suppliers to find best price, delivery and service, considering every expense associated with the purchase
  • Places purchase orders with most competitive supplier or according to the requestors need
  • Expeditie deliveries when the dates of delivery are not acceptable
  • Works with Import-Export specialist as a team to identify cost reductions, based on pricing, duties, broker fees and trasnportation costs
  • Complies with activities assigned by his supervisor
  • To work according of the I.M.S. (Integrated Management System) including ISO 9K, 18K, 14K, 27K, and 22301

REQUIRED SKILLS:

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Business degree in administrative areas: Economy, admin. accountant, systems (preferred) and/or experience in a similar position

  • Negotiation skills on pricing, terms, and service of indirect supplies
  • Computer literate
  • SAP knowledge (desired)
  • Experience at least 1 year in a similar position
