POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Sr. Buyer to join our team on a temporary basis. This role is critical to ensuring the timely procurement of goods, materials, and services that support our operations. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to maintain supply continuity, negotiate contracts, and optimize purchasing performance.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 3–5 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, or procurement
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Experience in a manufacturing environment with 1000+ SKUs
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and ERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
• Understanding of lead time management and vendor reliability
• International sourcing experience is a plus

• Quote, purchase, and expedite commodities from suppliers
• Maintain inventory levels at offsite vendor locations
• Support production work orders and minimize material shortages
• Analyze supply needs and plan purchases accordingly
• Evaluate supplier quotes and recommend alternatives
• Improve purchasing metrics and reduce costs through strategic sourcing
• Provide data-driven insights to management
• Match supplier capabilities with business requirements
