Here is a description of the role we are opening:
Responsibilities

Supplier Management

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships suppliers
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
  • Regular supplier calls & internal calls weekly & bi-weekly
  • Conduct regular performance reviews to assess supplier capabilities, quality, and delivery reliability

Procurement & Sourcing:

  • Identify and evaluate new suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and risk management
  • Monitor and mitigate supply chain risks, including component shortages, disruptions, or geopolitical factors

Supply Chain Coordination:

  • Coordinate with supply chain planning teams for timely delivery of materials and manage lead times

Data analysis & maintenance:

  • Maintain the information, such as, pricing, lead-time, payment term and so on in ERP system (QAD)
  • Prepare and present data reports, visualizations, and dashboards for stakeholders

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or commodity buying (preferably in chemical, semi-conductor, electronics, automotive sectors)
  • Master’s OR Bachelors in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Understanding of markets, cost structures, and supply chain management principles
  • Proficiency in market analysis, cost modeling, and data-driven decision-making
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently
  • IT Savvy with good understanding of IT applications
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in matrix organization
  • Fluency in English is a must; fluency in Mandarin is a plus
