Our client is a future-oriented company in the rail vehicle manufacturing sector, based in Berlin-Pankow – innovative, reliable and growing rapidly.

We are looking for a buyer (m/f/d) for a full-time position (40 hours/week).

Attractive salary between €48,000 and €54,000 per year

Order processing: Determining requirements, obtaining quotes, negotiating prices, contracts and delivery dates
Negotiation and implementation of contracts, framework agreements and purchasing-related guidelines
Close coordination of product and material requirements with internal specialist departments, especially engineering.
Deadline and quantity monitoring: Ensuring on-time delivery and compliance with quality standards
Master data maintenance in the ERP system: Material info records, prices, supplier information
Cost optimization: Pooling of requirements and use of framework agreements

A completed commercial apprenticeship (e.g., industrial clerk) or a relevant degree
At least 3 years of professional experience in the above-described field of work
Proven experience in the procurement of large components
Proficient use of MS Office and SAP
Fluent German and good English skills
