Summary
Under the direction of the Vice President of Purchasing, the Buyer will work with global client accounts by supporting branded merchandise programs that deliver products to B2B customers, dealer networks and corporate offices. Daily, the Buyer will focus on inventory management, vendor relations and merchandise selection. Each day is different, a variety of work is guaranteed, and growth opportunities are possible. This is a full-time, on-site position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded as needed from time to time.
1. Help establish and support branded merchandise programs by sampling, pricing and inputting product data into the ERP system.
2. Review and accurately order program inventory using the ERP system.
3. Continuous purchase order follow-up ensuring timely delivery.
4. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with vendors.
5. Obtain and document client approvals and licensing agreements.
6. Review and recommend merchandise for programs and special projects.
7. Keep abreast of new industry and retail trends.
8. Communicate and work with all internal departments and personnel to meet company objectives.
9. Complete special projects as assigned.
10. Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations while maintaining departmental housekeeping standards.
Knowledge and Skill
High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor’s degree a plus. Experience not required; one to three years of purchasing experience preferred.

8. Computer skills – ability to work with ERP software – experience with NetSuite a plus, Microsoft Office, Adobe, web stores, and Google.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $48,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
