• Bachelor or Diploma in Operations or Supply Chain, or equivalent work experience
• 1-3 years of work experience in a similar role
• Experience with Epicor or other ERP systems is an asset
• Strong attention to detail and highly organized
• Clear communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn and collaborate
• Ability to work efficiently and in a timely manner

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Buyer contributes to the overall success of the organization by assisting with all purchasing and inventory management responsibilities. This position will work closely with the Senior Buyer and the Operations Department and will be based out of our production facility office in Vancouver, BC.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Issue purchase orders for inventory and buy to order parts
• Follow up with vendors on ship dates
• Material management in ERP system including material transfers, updating ship dates and issuing POs
• Handle all freight forwarding requests
• Handle shipment of warranty and replacement parts
• Assist in setting up Kanban system
• Taking part in quarterly inventory counts
• Support the Senior Buyer as needed on projects
