QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

· A minimum of a high school diploma; an associate degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.
· At least 2-3 years of experience in a procurement or supply chain role, preferably in the manufacturing or beauty industry.
· Proven track record in effective negotiation and supplier management.

SKILLS:

· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and with ERP and MRP systems, Acumatica preferred.
· Strong analytical skills for evaluating supplier offers and making informed purchasing decisions.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with suppliers and collaborating with internal teams.

· Order and Inventory Management: Process purchase orders promptly and manage inventory levels using MRP systems to ensure the availability of materials while minimizing excess.
· Supplier Negotiation: Lead negotiation efforts with suppliers to achieve the best prices, terms, and delivery schedules, directly impacting our cost efficiency, product quality and service levels.
· Supplier Coordination: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, coordinating effectively to ensure timely deliveries and supply reliability.
· Data Management: Keep the ERP system current with detailed and accurate information on orders, deliveries, and inventory statuses.
· Cost Optimization: Conduct thorough market research to source materials at the lowest possible prices and engage in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency.
· Special Projects and Communication: Participate in special projects, working with cross-functional teams to achieve company-wide objectives. Ensure clear communication with all internal stakeholders to align procurement activities with business needs.
