We are seeking a Buyer/Planner, Staff to join our talented team in Costa Rica. The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating the planning and purchasing of materials required for manufacturing, as well as scheduling activities to support the NPI area within the Supply Chain organization across Costa Rica and the United States. Visa and availability to travel to the US may be required Key Responsibilities Plan and coordinate the procurement of materials to support production schedules and operational demand. Create, manage, and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of materials. Monitor inventory levels and material requirements to maintain optimal stock and prevent shortages. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Production, Engineering, and Quality to support manufacturing needs. Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities by ensuring timely material availability. Analyze planning data using ERP/MRP systems to maintain accurate supply and demand alignment. Communicate with suppliers to track deliveries, resolve issues, and maintain supply continuity. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the Supply Chain organization. Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree completed in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 4 years of experience in similar roles. Experience in the medical device industry Advanced level of English (B2+) Skills & Qualifications: Strong negotiation and effective communication skills. Proactive, well-organized, with strong analytical and critical thinking abilities. APICS certification, knowledge of Kinaxis, and experience with New Product Introductions (NPI) or product transfers will be considered a plus.
