SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic Buyer/Planner to join our team in Canada. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to our mission by ensuring the efficient procurement and planning of materials essential for our manufacturing processes.

Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Proven experience in purchasing or planning within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of SAP, MRP, and ERP systems.
• Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful vendor management.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
• Familiarity with pricing strategies and market analysis is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize inventory levels.
• Manage vendor relationships to ensure quality and timely delivery of materials.
• Analyze market trends to identify sourcing opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement with production schedules.
• Utilize SAP and MRP systems for effective planning and inventory management.
• Negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
• Monitor supply chain performance metrics to enhance operational efficiency.
• Prepare reports on purchasing activities and inventory status.
