Tasks

  • Operational purchasing: Placing orders, negotiating prices and monitoring delivery dates
  • Stock Management: Monitoring of inventory levels, minimizing storage costs and ensuring delivery capability
  • Supplier management: Building and maintaining supplier relationships, evaluating supplier performance
  • Product management: Analysis of product portfolios, identification of trends and optimization of the product range.
  • Cross-selling: Development and implementation of strategies for sales promotion through targeted cross-selling.

qualification

  • Completed commercial training or comparable qualification
  • Prior professional experience in purchasing is desirable.
  • Good knowledge in the areas of product, stock and cross-selling
  • Good German and English skills
  • Strong analytical skills and affinity for numbers
  • Confident use of MS Office
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Independent and results-oriented work style
