Tailor&Fox – your HR Business Partner - On behalf of our Client, a prestigious luxury automotive company based in the "Motor Valley", in the Bologna area, we are searching for: BUYER/SENIOR BUYER – AUTOMOTIVE You will report to the Commodity Manager in the Procurement Area and be responsible for the complete management of the material group within different commodities: Interior (senior buyer) / Powertrain / Electronics (buyer) Your responsibilities will focus on: Leading price negotiations and mediating award decisions through a worldwide Bidder’s List; Identifying & Leading cost Saving Ideas including supplier visits at plant; Scouting for new suppliers and Innovation with a deep focus on Economics and Business Sustainability; Analysing new market trends and deriving acquisition strategies; Being an active player in the Group Commodity Meeting aligning the Purchasing Strategy with the other Brands; Early involvement in the Project to Define the best technology to match project Needs & Targets; Working with the latest e-procurement solutions; Active member of cross-functional teams. Requisiti In order to meet these targets, you will need: University Degree in Engineering; At least 3-4 years experience; Background in the automotive sector is considered a plus; Good negotiations skills; Business fluency in English; Target-oriented approach; Team working attitude; Analytical skills; Ability to deliver under pressure; Willingness to work cross-functionally.
