JOB SUMMARY

We are a Mechanical & Electrical sub-contractor currently looking for an experienced Plumbing Buyer to join our team. As a Plumbing Buyer, you will be responsible for managing procurement and inventory of plumbing materials and ensuring we have the right products to support our operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Purchasing: Source and purchase plumbing supplies, equipment, and materials from trusted suppliers, ensuring the best prices and quality.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee stock levels, track inventory, and ensure timely replenishment of materials.
  • Vendor Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts and pricing.
  • Order Coordination: Coordinate and manage orders to ensure timely delivery and avoid stockouts that could impact operations.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Keep accurate records of orders, deliveries, and any discrepancies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in purchasing, preferably in the plumbing or construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing products, materials, and equipment.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
