Our RFD Beaufort Division in Ellesmere Port seeks a Buyer to join our team. If you’re strategic-driven and passionate about procurement, this Buyer role is for you! Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will focus on improving supplier on-time delivery, reducing inventory, and cutting costs. You will also manage and monitor suppliers and contribute to exciting projects aimed at solving problems and enhancing factory performance. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Apply relevant category strategies based on deep understanding of products, processes, and stakeholder needs.
• Build effective relationships with suppliers, ensuring compliance with key terms.
• Define contract requirements and create detailed supplier specifications.
• Analyse buying data, identify variances, and propose opportunities for profitability improvement.
• Resolve queries from internal or external customers and suppliers.
• Identify non-compliance with purchasing policies and regulatory codes, reporting and escalating as needed.
• Contribute to stakeholder engagement by understanding needs and effectively communicating.
