Description
The scope of this role would be to lead and manage a team of buyers; providing guidance, support and performance feedback, as well as building strong collaboration with variety of different business functions including suppliers, network planners, network schedulers, customer Service, warehouse, supplier development, category managers, finance, senior management team, IT and PLM. Manage and lead a team of up to 9 buyers on the same location Active involvement of the critical vendors with the highest volume, act as a subject matter expert on day-to-day activities, and provide functional guidance to team members Ensure that your team and you as a leader build up a good relationship and understand the constraints of our external and internal vendors and communicate clearly internally and externally. Align with your peers if your strategy for external and internal vendors fits with the overall strategy and guidelines. Develop and execute defined KPI´s and ensure that overall goals are achieved for your team. Be the escalation point of contact in-case of supply disruptions, and coordinate with suppliers for effective line of balance to keep the supplies in place Drive forecast attainment aligned with the MPS resulted from the SIOP plan Supervising and ensure team is working and following approved RASCI matrix and SOP Proactively monitor and improve Supplier On-time Delivery with corrective actions while collaborating with Category Management and Supplier Development Teams Oversee the end-to-end procurement process for external vendor components, ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries to manufacturing site Collaborate with internal departments, including production, logistics, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of components into the manufacturing process Managing changing scenarios like seasonality, forecast changes, supply chain changes and deploy the necessary changes Continuously improving processes that affect leading indicators with external and internal vendors Ensuring that purchasing data (policies and parameters) on the ERP system are accurate and continuously adapted to current scenarios Deploy succession plan and work on a talent pool with the senior leaders Bachelor's degree required, preferrably in a relevant area Minimum of 2 years of experience in a comparable leadership role Advanced functional knowledge and exposure in Operational Buying and Planning, preferably in a manufacturing environment Ability to use both English and French in a professional capacity. Materials Planning and Inventory Management Data Analytics, Power BI, Complex calculations and understanding, MS Office advanced Level Change management, mentoring and educating, and an ability to communicate on different levels of the organization
