· 3rd level degree in a business, buying or a related degree
· The successful candidate will demonstrate a high attention to detail, good numerical ability, and an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel robust spreadsheets.
· Strong administrative and planning skills.
· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment
· Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and take ownership of workloads
· Ability to be a team player, while also having the ability to work independently
· Flexible and open to change as the business requires
This is a hybrid working position which requires attendance in office 3 days and WFH 2 days each week

Responsibilities

THE ROLE:

We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Buying Administrator to join our growing Buying Department The Buying Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting the buying department by assisting with various administrative tasks, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring efficient communication between internal teams and external suppliers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain the integrity of all data information in relation to suppliers, products, and offers
  • Update changes to product costing and retail prices
  • Liaising with suppliers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
  • Sample management; requesting and tracking samples, arranging samples for web and packaging photography.
  • Conducting approval assessments of packaging, photography and samples
  • Managing product information detail for packaging and website information
  • Arranging packaging design requests as required and liaising with design team
  • Coordinate with suppliers to confirm orders, resolve any issues, and negotiate favourable terms.
  • Assist with product sourcing, research, and evaluation to identify new suppliers and products.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and other documentation as required by the buying team.
