JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a proactive and commercially-minded Buying Executive to join our purchasing team. The role involves international sourcing, supplier negotiation, and supporting the development of new product lines. You will play a vital role in ensuring competitive pricing, quality assurance, and on-time delivery of goods.

• Experience in international procurement or sourcing is desirable.
• High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally as required.
• A team player with a proactive attitude and problem-solving mindset.

• Source branded confectionery and FMCG products from global markets, including the Far East and Europe.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with international suppliers.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimise supplier performance.
• Conduct regular supplier evaluations to ensure compliance with quality and delivery standards.
• Attend trade fairs and exhibitions to identify new trends, products, and suppliers.
• Secure and manage supplier credit accounts where appropriate.
• Coordinate with logistics and warehousing teams to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments.
• Maintain up-to-date records of supplier contracts, pricing, and performance reports.
• Support product development initiatives and contribute ideas to improve the product range.
