Buying Specialist PtP
Part of the global bioeconomy, Stora Enso is a leading provider of renewable products in packaging, biomaterials and wooden construction, and one of the largest private forest owners in the world. Our global Finance Unit within the Packaging Materials Division carries out accounting tasks and provides financial services in multiple areas.

We are now looking for a Buying Specialist PtP to join our team in Ostrava.

As a Buying Specialist PtP you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating and consolidating needs reported by requisitioners, ensuring that execution and documentation are carried out in accordance with regulations and internal guidelines.
  • Following up on own purchases, including ensuring that product information, quantity, and price are in accordance with the offer.
  • Acting as a link between procurement, sourcing, category teams, and mills.
  • Providing advice, guidance, and training to requisitioners to ensure that the quality of the requisition is good enough to carry out sourcing and procurement activities.
  • Ensuring the execution of competition, controlling and processing requisitions, sending out requests /utilizing framework agreements, evaluating offers.
  • Actively investigating the supplier market.
  • Supplier relationship management.
  • Contract management.
  • Procurement process management (oversee the entire procurement process, ensuring compliance with 3 bids and a buy where possible).

You will be located in Ostrava, Czechia and report to the PtP Manager.
We apply hybrid way of working, with 2-3 days/week in the office.
We offer this position for 1 year, with the possibility to prolong the contract.

What we expect you to have:

  • Commercial or vocational school (economics or technical are an advantage)
  • 2+ years of experience within the field of Supply Chain, Purchasing, Sourcing, Finance, Logistics, Demand planning or Sales
  • Excellent understanding of P2P process.
  • Good teamwork skills.
  • Excellent communicator, with English language at B2 level or higher

Additional skills that are beneficial in this role:

  • SAP P2P process knowledge
