REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven 3 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels; Mandarin speaking a plus.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our team in the Greater London Area. This role demands a proactive professional with a solid background in HR practices and a proven ability to support employee relations and enhance HR policies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the entire recruitment process from job advertising to hiring.
  • Review and screen job applications to create a shortlist of candidates.
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews with hiring managers.
  • Draft and send offer letters and employment contracts to selected candidates.
  • Conduct background checks, including references and right-to-work verification.
  • Oversee the new starter process, ensuring smooth integration into the company.
  • Assist managers in preparing for new hires and conducting first-day briefings.
  • Provide guidance on performance issues, grievances, and absence management.
  • Maintain employee files, manage HR inquiries, and update HR records.
  • Create and review HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and best practices.
