Responsibilities

THE ROLE

To ensure our customers receive the best experience, we are creating a new position within the Host team to specialise in supporting deliveries. We are currently seeking a Handover Specialist to join BYD Harmony Auto, serving customers from the Canary Wharf branch.
This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service. The successful candidate will be outgoing, energetic, and process-driven. Responsibilities will include conducting handovers at our Lakeside site for customers. While industry experience is preferred, it is not essential.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver a customer experience that exceeds expectations by demonstrating vehicle technology and ensuring mobile devices are paired and radio stations are set to customer preferences.
  • Greet customers and provide coverage for the on-site Host during peak hours and prepare for vehicle handover within the retailer.
  • Coordinate the vehicle handover process for all new and used vehicles within the retailer environment, from start to finish.
  • Inspect vehicles prior to handover, including fuel levels and accessory fittings. Ensure all service manuals, book packs, and handover forms are prepared.
  • Present personalised handover gifts to customers.
  • Arrange, by appointment, a complimentary follow-up visit to address additional technical needs.
  • Complete and check delivery/handover files, ensuring all forms and documents are signed and accurate.
  • Create personalised automotive videos to enhance trust and transparency post-handover.
  • Follow up with customers after handover to confirm their satisfaction and gather feedback.
  • Organisation of the site and stock rotation
