Responsibilities

Some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Forecast and dissemination of mission requirements among relevant stakeholders
  • Coordinate and lead stakeholder meetings with regards to urgent fleet planning or operational matters
  • Provide tasking priorities for individual aircraft based off mission requirements, AFHR and EFH status
  • Perform Fleet Planning activities, including maintenance of, and updates to, the C-130J Fleet Plan
  • Ensure Fleet Plan changes are properly documented and stakeholders informed
  • In consultation with key stakeholders, develop the Statement of Work for Deeper Maintenance servicings (including R20, R30 and R80 as well as standalone induction for capability Modifications, etc.)
  • Act as the conduit between Airbus Maintenance and Squadron Operations for the planning of maintenance check/test flight

The knowledge and experience best suited to this role:

  • Aircraft Technical Trade Qualification and/or equivalent
  • Technical experience in aircraft maintenance engineering (Part 145 or equivalent) or CAM (Part M or equivalent), or Technical Support services in the aviation industry, with multi-engine, fixed-wing aircraft types
  • Knowledge and understanding of interdependencies between maintenance (including maintenance and fleet planning) and other airworthiness management and support activities
  • Understanding of maintenance and engineering cost drivers and how to ensure cost effectiveness.
  • Superior knowledge of applicable legislation and regulations (e.g., DASR, CASA, EASA etc.), standards and internal best practices
