We’re looking for a C++ analyst developer to expand our derivative clearing services!
The Canadian Derivatives Clearing Corporation (CDCC), a subsidiary of TMX Group - Montréal Exchange, acts as the central clearing counterparty for exchange-traded derivatives and for the fixed income (repo) market between financial institutions and pension plans. CDCC’s role is to ensure the integrity and stability of the markets that it supports.
Our unit is responsible for development of the applications (SOLA Clearing) used to operate CDCC’s clearing system and for enabling clearing members to carry out post-trade transactions and collateral management. Our projects involve achieving operational excellence, supporting new financial instruments, supporting clearing transactions and meeting regulatory standards and requirements, such as those of the Bank of Canada or the Autorité des marchés financiers.
Reporting to the Core Clearing Product Owner, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary team of business analysts, programmers, architects and test analysts in an Agile environment. You will be responsible for developing and implementing new features on our derivative clearing platform. You will also work on developing of unit tests and help automate integrated tests.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Analysis – Develop the technical design of the implementation, on both the client and server side.
  • Contribution – Implement the various functionalities essential to CDCC’s product offering.
  • Quality assurance - Develop unit tests and help automate integrated tests to maintain high standards of integrity.
