We are looking for a Back-end Engineer who will design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software that contributes to the success of the product, team, and organization. This includes full ownership of features and components appropriate to the engineer’s stage, collaboration with cross-functional teams, continuous improvement of code quality and processes, and effective communication to ensure scalable, secure, and user-centric solutions. Software Engineers are expected to deepen their domain expertise, solve increasingly complex technical challenges, and contribute to business impact through innovation, quality delivery, and professional excellence. As a cognyter you will: Independently deliver features of moderate complexity. Recognize user and product needs in scope of work. Improve quality and performance of assigned systems. Support customer activities as port of Back Office Support or site team. Debug and optimize systems. Contribute to design decisions Training and guiding entry-level engineers. Ensure data integrity and security, and compliance with company policies. Regularly use established code design patterns and development best practices. Requirements For that mission you'll need: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering; Professional experience of developing in C# or C++ (>3 years); Experience in Object Oriented Programming; Work experience with CI/CD Independence and pro-active learning Fluent in English. Nice to have Experience/knowledge with Python, Linux and debugging under Linux; Experience in Telephony(GSM/UMTS) / VoIP/ SIP - big advantage; Work with server client architecture.
