Responsibilities

THE ROLE

We’re seeking a highly skilled C/C++ Programmer to support the development and maintenance of high-performance applications within a secure regulatory environment. This Sydney-based role is part of a long-term uplift program focused on stabilising and enhancing legacy systems that underpin national compliance and registry operations.
You’ll be responsible for building and optimising software components that interact with low-level system resources, legacy interfaces, and modern integration layers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Design, develop, and maintain C/C++ applications for high-reliability systems.
  • Optimise code for performance, memory usage, and system stability.
  • Debug and troubleshoot complex software issues across platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate legacy and modern components.
  • Participate in code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain version control and build systems (Make, CMake, Git/SVN).
  • Ensure compliance with secure coding standards and government frameworks.
