Description:
OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or Computer Sciences or equivalent experience.
- Strong knowledge of operating systems, Microsoft and Linux based (Windows server, Windows 10, Centos, Red Hat.
- Excellent computer components knowledge (Cisco, KVM, NAS) and computers related services (DHCP, DNS, IIS, LDAP).
- Excellent knowledge of scripting languages (Perl, Powershell, Batch, csh.).
- Electronics knowledge and the measurement equipment (scope, multimeter).
- Must be comfortable with all facets of PC, laptop hardware, setup and maintenance; including installation and configuration of hard drives, NIC’s, printers, CPU/Heatsinks, racking and cabling new rackmount equipment and other PC accessories.
- Strong debugging skills for complex problems.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
PREFERRED EDUCATION:
- Pursuing an undergraduate/master’s degree in computer engineering or related fields.

THE ROLE WE ARE OFFERING YOU:
Are you an engineering student? Do you have an interest in building web-based tools that will be part of an application suite that will allow us to work more efficiently. By joining our team in aftermarket tech support, you will, among other things, learn to develop new applications; add features to applications already developed by the department; fix bugs and optimize applications; model or modify databases. In addition to working on these tools, you will discover a world that will help you understand how an airplane simulator works, what modules are part of it and how they are interfaced with each other; and at the same time, you will be able to perfect your programming knowledge, your analytical skills, your patience, and methodology.
THE ROLE WE ARE OFFERING YOU:
- You will be responsible to coordinate different contributors to get the project completed as per requirement.
- You will have to plan, elaborate, design, supervise all tasks related to lab setup, maintenance and end of life.
- You will be required to configure and maintain the hardware and computer platform of multiple laboratory environment.
- You will help migrate, integrate, support and test new components and technologies in a development environment.
- You will be the support contact for the hardware platform and computer products.
- You will need to install, configure the servers and their components.
