Location: South East/London/Brighton, UK (Remote with occasional Brighton visits)
Boutique company seeks a talented C# Developer (10-15+ years .NET) to maintain and enhance a critical Position Management system for a major UK Energy Trading house. Front Office experience, ideally in Energy (Gas & Power) or commodities, and direct interaction with Traders is key.
Required: Strong C#, .NET 7/8, Microservices, XML/JSON/REST APIs, Webservices, Design Patterns, SQL Server, Azure (DevOps, Pipelines, Functions, Security), Git/GitHub, Docker/Kubernetes, CI/CD.
Advantage: Trayport API knowledge, Energy Trading Front Office experience.
Personal Attributes: UK-based (no visa restrictions, either citizens or permanent residents, no sponsorship), self-motivated, able to work remotely with minimal guidance, and comfortable commuting to Brighton 1-2 times monthly.
Package: Fully remote, occasional travel expenses reimbursed, BYOD or company-provided equipment, negotiable salary (£60 to £80k based on experience) + performance bonus, delivery-focused environment (no micromanagement). Direct hire only (no agencies)
