JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Project Manager for the Cork Region, this a is a key role to support our Electrician in the field. To carry out a range of operational duties to ensure the efficient and safe running of the workplace. This includes supporting the Electrician team, maintaining equipment, handling materials, and ensuring the quality of work processes.

EXPERIENCE:

Previous experience of driving a C license vehicle
Previous experience working as a general operative, ideally in an electrical field or construction experience.
Previous experience of working on public roads and traffic management would be an advantage

REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to plan and follow efficient routes.
Strong attention to detail.
Full competence in the Rules of the Road.

Responsibilities

Drive Electricians to various jobs and project locations.
Support Electricians with key tasks, ensuring health and safety at all times.
Meet key business targets and deadlines.
Communicate and work effectively with work crews to deliver job requirements in line with agreed specifications, standards, health & safety plans, and method statements.
Identify work improvement opportunities and report these to the Project Manager.
Operate vehicles and machinery in accordance with Health and Safety requirements.
Conduct regular checks on machinery and equipment, clean tools, and carry out basic maintenance tasks when necessary.
