C# & Python Software Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a C# & Python Software Engineer to join our team supporting a leading European financial institution in Luxembourg.

You will join an experienced international team and contribute to the development, enhancement, and support of software solutions.

What you'll do

• Software development and application support
• Data processing and automation
• Database and technical analysis

What we're looking for

• Strong hands-on experience in software development using C#
• Experience with Python for data analysis, ETL, automation, or scripting
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Experience developing scripts and automation solutions
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Fluent English communication skills
• EU work authorisation or existing right to work in Luxembourg

Nice to have

• Experience in banking, financial services, or risk management environments
• Knowledge of Oracle, Sybase, or similar database technologies
• Experience working within large enterprise environments
• Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD, or cloud technologies
• French language skills
