C++ Software Infrastructure Engineer (Contract)Location: London (Hybrid - 1 day per week) or Germany (Hybrid - 1 day per week)Contract: Initial 6 months

Our customer is currently looking for a Senior C++ Software Infrastructure Engineer to build core storage infrastructure to manage calibration data across vehicle compute platforms. You'll be responsible for designing and developing a production-grade C++ library that provides reliable storage, access and management of critical data.

• What you'll be doing:Design and develop a robust C++ library for calibration data storage and retrieval.
• Build clean, scalable APIs used across multiple software systems.
• Work with persistent storage, file systems and platform-level interfaces.
• Integrate with existing calibration, robotics and platform software.
• Write efficient, maintainable and production-ready C++ code.
• Support testing and validation across different compute environments and platforms.
• Collaborate closely with platform and robotics engineering teams.

• What we're looking for:Strong commercial experience with modern C++.
• Strong experience with Linux.
• Experience building software libraries, APIs, middleware or infrastructure components.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with storage systems, persistence layers, file systems or low-level software interfaces.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with Linux operating systems.
