Position Summary: The C-Store Account Manager will be responsible for cultivating and expanding relationships with convenience store chains, distributors, driving sales growth, and executing strategic plans for product placement and promotions within the channel. This high-impact role will focus on launching new products, accelerating growth, and strengthening partnerships with national convenience store chains and key wholesalers. Candidates should have proven experience and success calling on Sheetz, Wawa, RaceTrac, EG America, Pilot, GPM, and other major convenience store chains and distributors. This position plays a pivotal role in strengthening our presence within the channel and contributing to our company’s long-term success. Key Responsibilities: Manage the brokers to support and build the convenience store business with small & mid-sized chains and distributors. Hold brokers accountable to grow the business overall. Develop, build, and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at national convenience store chains and distributors. Develop and execute strategic account plans, sales forecasts, and promotional programs to achieve sales goals. Ability to work cross-functionally with teams across marketing, supply chain, and finance to ensure alignment and effective execution of sales strategies. Monitor and analyze the competitive landscape, market trends, and consumer behavior in the convenience channel, adapting strategies to stay ahead. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding our footprint and securing new retail partnerships. Knowledge & Experience: 5+ years of strategic sales experience in the CPG - Consumer Packaged Goods industry. Bachelor’s degree in business or related field. Proven track record of managing and growing accounts within the convenience store or retail channel. Strong understanding of trade marketing, category management, and product placement strategies. Knowledge of distributor networks, broker partnerships, and supply chain dynamics within the C-store channel. Demonstrated excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated strong problem-solving abilities. Experience developing and executing account plans, sales forecasts, and promotional programs. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Working Conditions: Remote position: with candidate located Central US; preferably in Chicago, Wisconsin, Texas or Oklahoma. Ability to travel up to 40% of the time, nationwide, with overnight stays. Live within hour of a major airport. Pay range for this position is $90,000 to $130,000 depending on experience. There is also a potential for a discretionary bonus this bonus is based on personal & company performance and is not a guaranteed bonus plan.
