Job Summary This role will play a key part during the implementation phase, working closely with SAP, system integrators, and business stakeholders, before transitioning into managing and optimising the production SAP landscape. Key Responsibilities Implementation Phase Support SAP S/4HANA on RISE implementation activities from project initiation through go-live Coordinate with SAP RISE operations, system integrators, and hyperscaler teams (Azure) Perform SAP BASIS setup, including system provisioning, configuration, and landscape planning Manage transports, client strategy, system refreshes, and technical cutover activities Support SAP kernel upgrades, SPS implementation, and technical readiness checks Assist with SAP security setup, including user management, roles, authorisations, and audit requirements Support system integrations (RFC, IDoc, CPI, PI/PO, SLT, etc.) within SAP BTP Participate in SIT, UAT, go-live preparation, and hypercare support Ensure compliance with RISE standards, SLAs, and SAP best practices Post Go-Live / Operational Phase Provide ongoing SAP BASIS and technical operations support for SAP S/4HANA on RISE (e.g. user administration) Monitor system health, performance, background jobs, dumps, locks, and interfaces Manage incidents, problems, and changes in coordination with SAP and external vendors Perform regular system maintenance, including patches, upgrades, and transport management Support disaster recovery testing, system availability, and business continuity planning Continuously optimise system performance and stability Maintain system documentation and operational procedures Provide on-call and production support as required Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Strong hands-on experience in SAP BASIS administration for SAP S/4HANA Minimum 6 years of experience working in RISE with SAP environments (implementation and/or operations) Solid understanding of SAP HANA database concepts Experience with SAP transports, system copies, refreshes, and upgrades Knowledge of SAP security and authorisation concepts Strong troubleshooting, coordination, and problem-solving skills SAP BASIS, SAP S/4HANA, and/or SAP HANA certifications are preferred
