About CCSU’s Information Technology Department
We are a team of professionals serving over 10,000 customers, comprised of undergraduate & graduate, remote and in-person students, full and part-time faculty, and administration. We are organized into five functional departments supporting infrastructure, security, applications, client support, project management, and implementation of digital strategies across the campus.
Position Profile
The Deputy Chief Information Officer serves as a trusted member of the Information Technology management team and may be assigned specific areas of programmatic and or personnel administration or serve as member of IT Leadership under the executive authority of the Chief Information Officer. The successful incumbent manages and supervises IT operations including the University’s Enterprise IT systems (including ERP, CRM, reporting and business intelligence), strategic IT application services, data integrity, information architecture, data-related cyber security controls, interoperability, with a focus on operations and strategy. Partners with CISO for audit and compliance and in interconnection of data with the System Office.
Other essential duties may be assigned consistent with the general scope of the position.

Compensation and Employee Benefits
The Deputy Chief Information Officer is compensated at the Manager 3 salary level in accordance with CSCU Human Resources Policies for Management and Confidential Professional Personnel.
