Benefits: * 50.00/hour * Part Time- On Call Position We are a drug free workplace. Responsibilities/Duties: * Act as a visual deterrent to prevent theft, embezzlement, sabotage, fire, and accidents * Conduct regular patrols * Monitor activities * Surveillance * Access Control * Safety escorts * Using provided communication devices * Represent SSNW’s brand * Properly wear the issued uniform * Complete Daily Activity Reports (DAR) * Complete Incident Reports * Work with local law enforcement, and emergency services * Provide friendly assistance to customers, employees and visitors following the department's procedures. * Other duties as described in the Post Orders Required Skills/Abilities: * Current California State Armed Security Guard License (BSIS) * EMT Background is a plus * Smart phone to access the apps we use for scheduling, clocking in/out, and reporting. * Reliable transportation * Honesty and Integrity * Able to work non-traditional hours including swings, graveyard, weekends, and holidays * Ability to react appropriately in high stress situations Education and Experience: * High School Diploma or Equivalent * 10 years prior Public Safety and/or Corrections experience preferred * Reserve police officers encouraged to apply * Valid drivers license with insurable record * Knowledge of security protocols, and equipment Physical Requirements: * Must be able to conduct regular walking foot patrols * Able to stand 8-12 hours a day * Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times (occasionally) Security Services Northwest is an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
