The Technology & Merchandising Pro (TMPro) uses their deep understanding of technical and merchandising principles and strong presentation skills to oversee the store’s technology and product presentation. You’re integral to helping bring what Apple has to offer to life through technology, storytelling, the demo experience, and Today at Apple. The TMPro is passionate about engaging and influencing the wider team to create an experience like no other for our customers. DESCRIPTION Serve as a subject matter expert and point of contact for in-store merchandising and technology implementation, experiences, and support. Support and lead the implementation of all merchandising programs to drive excitement and deliver seamless customer experiences. Make sure all in-store and third-party technology are functioning properly. Mentor and train the store team on merchandising principles, and how to maintain or troubleshoot in-store technology. Work with cross-functional partners to support and implement retail infrastructure and store layout updates, making sure store merchandising and technology supply levels are maintained according to guidelines. Perform other tasks as needed, including but not limited to supporting customer-facing activities on or off the sales floor. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS You should: Be available to work a schedule based on business needs that may include nights, weekends, and public holidays in the retail store, and reliably attend work as scheduled, in line with local laws and subject to any approved accommodations. Have experience in retail or sales, or related work experience. Be able to visually differentiate colors and confirm distance between products in various places throughout the store. Be able to navigate and work in compact spaces throughout the store. Be able to to physically service equipment and in-store fixtures that vary in size and weight. Be proficient in written and spoken English, except if your role is based in Quebec (sign language supported). Be proficient in written and spoken French if your role is based in Quebec (sign language supported). You should also be able to read and write in English. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS You can: Troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues, and have an aptitude for technical learning. Work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives and drive results that align with Apple’s business priorities and strategies. Use resources, tools, and other team members to accomplish work at the highest level, including delegating when needed. Engage and influence team members at all levels using clear communication, storytelling, and presentation skills. Focus on what matters to create an amazing customer experience, understand Retail Merchandising principles, and have a strong attention to detail. Think holistically with a broad view and simultaneously identify critical details relevant to success. Be a self-starter who is organized, excels at planning and process management, and can work without close supervision in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrate familiarity with Apple’s products, accessories, and services.
